The Gate 3 Incident occurred when one of the aliens escapes and unfortunately kills a guard by somehow making him implode.
The alien, an Archquloid, was cloned by the Ebens and given to scientist in order to study the species. J-Rod who is also a cloned alien, is much more intelligent and is able to communicate with the Archquloid and helps him escape.
