What is going on with the moon? The moon has eight phases that people have been observing for hundreds if not millions of years. Recently a few people have noticed that the moon is shifting into unidentifiable phases.
The crescent points that are normally pointed north and south are now pointed in a north-east and south-west position. This video compares images of the moon taken in 2001 and pictures of the moon that were taken recently.
